A couple of the sectional sofas updated!

At 15 prims, which includes 3 animated poses and the pillows, the sofas are great if you don't have alot of prims to play with and they are also compact enough to fit in smaller homes. They retail at 300L$ and you can of course add pillows from the pack I sent out to everyone - the colours will all match :-)) Co-ordinating beanbags are also available upstairs in the main store...

Kaia's Hallowe'en Home Decorating Competition Winner 2009!

Congratulations to Sarah Baran who wins 2000L$ in our Hallowe'en Home Decorating Competition!

Several residents entered and the houses all looked wonderful - judging was tough!

In the end Sarah won as she had kept her design simple and had fitted it around the layout of the house, enhancing it.

Many thanks to everyone that took part - it was alot of fun! Who knows...maybe we will have another at Christmas...:-)

Sandalwood Goes Tropical!

Well, I have been digging and planting all day and finally Sandalwood has the tropical look it truly deserves!

Beautiful realistic palm trees have replaced the arrangements that were dotted around and wooden plank walkways lead you through the hot steamy foliage. Pretty bridges span the waterways and all around you the sound of exotic birds and the buzzing of insects.....can't you just feel the heat? :-))

Offshore islands promise more than just the vast blue of the SL ocean...click to sit on them and see what happens.....

Watch this space as we plan to upgrade the other islands in a similar fashion....when I have had my nails manicured back to normal..... ;-))

Cabrueva - Kaia's Most Secluded Sim Is Now Open!

I am pleased to announce that Kaia's newest Sim Cabrueva is now open!

Beautifully landscaped, Cabrueva is a mountain-themed Sim and will host only 7 homes each with larger than usual Kaia-sized parcels.

Great care has been taken to ensure each parcel is private and secluded and has gorgeous views across the neighbouring Sims or out into the ocean where rocky islands break the expanse of SL blue water.

Flying around the islands this morning I took this shot of the marina and wanted to share it with you! Taken from the Zen Island....can't you just feel the week's tension floating away...........

Kaia Estates Rocks!!!!!

Take a look at these wonderful rock formations off the coast on Amyris - one of Kaia Estates' beautiful residential islands. Complete with wild water they add another dimension to our already popular island and have been described by Floyd Tigerpaw (Estate Manager and rock-wrangler :-)) ) as a little bit of the Scottish coast transported to Second Life.

We have a limited number of houses available with the new cliff and reef views so if you are tired of tropical and long for something a bit more dramatic please get in touch with Meggie or Floyd who will be only too pleased to help you choose your dream house.

We have a new house design at Kaia - the Seli. A pretty cabin-style luxury home with our signature glass and wood floors. The house boasts a large skylight over the bedroom so you can look up at the stars as you drift off to the sound of the waterfall.

Pretty Enamel Hearts Chimes Now At KaiaGaia!

Come take a look at the new range of windchimes at KaiaGaia.

Unique to Second Life, the chimes are made from beautifully coloured enamelled tin hearts which rotate and tinkle softly in the breeze. Just click to turn the chimes on and off.

Just to introduce a new house design exclusive to Kaia Estates......the Tich Plus.

With a few modifications the Tich, one of Kaia's most popular smaller designs, now has extra space and light.

The addition of a cute wooden staircase leading up to a stripped wood mezzanine floor with glass walls makes a great bedroom. And the house has plenty of room on the ground floor for a living room and a kitchen (if you cook in SL!)

With fully tinting windows you are assured privacy whilst still being able to look out over the beautiful Kaia scenery.

As you may know Floyd Tigerpaw, Kaia's Estate Manager, is a very talented singer/songwriter and musician in RL :-)

By way of bringing his great music to you Meggie and Floyd have combined their creative SL talents (such as they are!) and come up with a cute animated musical bear.

Floyd says ' He is a crafty teddy bear with adorably animated guitar-playing poses that must be seen. He strums like a pro, sings on demand and smiles like honey'. How can you resist that?!

He comes free with an in-world jukebox that plays a full-length track " with no parcel streaming media permissions needed.

The Musical Bear comes boxed with instructions and transfer permission, so would also make an ideal present for someone special.

New! Niaouli Tropical Pool For Kaia Residents Use Only!

I am sure most of you remember the Roman pool we had over at Niaouli - it was a very popular place! Well we decided to have a change and Kaia residents now have full use of a tropical swimming pool, hot tub and cuddle hammock. Sip cocktails as you laze by the gorgeous waterfall and watch the sunset over the ocean!

We have set the parcel for Kaia residents use only so please ensure you are wearing your group tag or you won't be allowed access.

Introducing the new bespoke custom-built kitchen service from KaiaGaia! Mouse-built by hand (if you get my meaning)!

For something truly unique for your Second Life home drop me a notecard or IM me and I would be delighted to visit your home and discuss your kitchen requirements. The kitchens are based on English Country House style featuring natural woods, brick, granites and of course the famous Kaia Agas!
